MCT (Capric Caprylic Triglycerides) oil is a type of fractionated coconut oil, extracted from the coconut much in the same way cream is separated from milk. This oil is an ideal carrier for essential oils and for blending with butters and waxes for use as an emollient in DIY cosmetic products.
